8th Bengali Film Festival of Dallas
Experience a vibrant celebration of South Asian art, cinema, and heritage at the 8th Bengali Film Festival of Dallas (BFFD) — one of the most prestigious cultural events in North America’s Bengali and South Asian communities. Taking place from August 1–3, 2025, at the Angelika Film Center Dallas, BFFD showcases powerful, award-winning Bengali-language films, connecting audiences with the rich storytelling traditions of Bengal.
This year, BFFD proudly presents a special cultural highlight: “Nakshikanthar Chobi” – An Exhibition & Fashion Show, bringing to life the 500-year-old embroidery tradition of Nakshikantha in a modern, artistic twist. Explore handcrafted textiles and striking fashion pieces that blend folk heritage with contemporary design, reflecting the soul of Bengal.
