The Fair runs for 24 consecutive days each fall, making it the longest-running fair in the nation. In 2026, the State Fair of Texas will be open Sept. 25 - Oct. 18, 2026. The State Fair of Texas features more than 100 daily attractions included with admission.
Daily admission tickets are $15-25 per adult and $10 per kid every day of the fair, but special discounts are available on select days. You can also buy a season pass for as low as $52 and visit as many times as you want!
The State Fair of Texas address is located in historic Fair Park. Parking for the fair is at Gate 2, 925 S. Haskell Ave, in South Dallas. Parking is available from $25 per car at official Fair lots. Pro tip – take the DART Green Line to Fair Park Station and avoid traffic and parking altogether.

College football fans will flock to the Allstate Red River Showdown and the State Fair Classic, held at the Cotton Bowl during the fair each year. Watch the Grambling State Tigers and Prairie View A&M Panthers play a thrilling game at the State Fair Classic on Sept. 26. Cheer with the roar of the crowd while seeing the Red River Rivalry, sitting on the edge of your seat as the Texas Longhorns play against the Oklahoma Sooners on Oct. 10.
