Honor Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month in Dallas

Discover the art of the Samurai at the Ann & Gabriel Barbier-Mueller Museum: The Samurai Collection in the Harwood District. After museum hopping, dine at a local Japanese favorite, Tei-An or any of these Asian restaurants.

In the Dallas Arts District, visit a vibrant, new exhibit The Rainbow My Mother Shows Me: Echo Morgan opening May 16, 2026 at the Crow Museum of Asian Art. Grab some friends and check out Discover Downtown Dallas Movie Series at Main Street Garden Park! This month's movies are about heros who play by their own rules. Catch Top Gun: Maverick on May 8, Shrek on May 15, Napoleon Dynamite on May 22, and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade on May 29, 2026.

On May 15, enjoy live outdoor concerts, film screenings and art at 'til Midnight at the Nasher!
