Reggae Meets Jazz on Canvas

Local musicians and visual artist create jazz on canvas monthly at Bonton Farms
July 18, from 11:30 am to 1 pm, live music and painting will bloom midday at Bonton Farms. Dynamic father and son duo Eric Willis and Josh Willis will serenade guests with reggae-inspired jazz while visual artist LaShonda Cooks interprets their notes in real-time with paint. The resulting creation will be raffled off at the end of the performance.
The July concert is the second of a monthly series pairing live music from different genres with live painting at the South Dallas farm: The Jazz on Canvas series is sponsored by the City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture and free for the public.
