Velvet Taco Celebrates National Taco Day with Tattoos, Tacos & Giveaways
On National Taco Day (10/7) will host a live tattoo pop-up with Rebel Muse Tattoo at its Greenville Avenue restaurant in Dallas.
Three artists will ink free taco-inspired designs from a custom flash sheet inside an airstream trailer in the parking lot. The first guest brave enough to get the Velvet Taco broach logo tattoo will earn free tacos for an entire year through weekly Velvet Room rewards.
Velvet Taco will be celebrating National Taco Day all week long with the following offerings:
New Japanese Katsu Curry WTF: A fan-created Weekly Taco Feature (WTF) is hitting menus starting October 1, available through October 7. The Tokyo Taco includes panko tenders, Japanese curry, pickled daikon & carrots, buttered cilantro basmati rice, pickled Fresnos, scallions, furikake, on a flour tortilla.
Velvet Room Rewards: Buy a taco on October 5-11 and earn a free taco reward, redeemable through October 13-17.
Temporary Tattoos: Free taco-inspired temporary tattoos will be handed out at all Velvet Taco restaurants on National Taco Day.
Social Giveaway: An Instagram contest will award 15 winners a $100 Velvet Taco gift card to put toward their own taco tattoo.
