Tuesdays
Griggs Park
Uptown Dallas is bringing the big screen to Griggs Park every Tuesday night in May, and the lineup is pure rom-com gold. Movies in the Park is free and open to the public, so grab your blanket, lawn chair, and a picnic and settle in for a night under the stars. Catch What a Girl Wants on May 5, Pretty in Pink on May 12, Anyone but You on May 19, and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days on May 26.
Saturday, May 16
Dallas
The Dallas Bike Ride is the city's only car-free social ride, and on May 16 it is your turn to cruise past iconic landmarks, soak in the skyline, and experience the Big D from two wheels without a single car in sight. This is a ride, not a race, so come at your own pace, take the photo ops, and recharge at well-stocked rest stops along the way. Cap it all off at the Finish Festival with food trucks, a beer garden, and the energy of thousands of fellow riders celebrating together.
May 15-16
The Kalita Humphreys Theater
Dallas makes history with La Dama en Negro, the first Spanish-language production with English subtitles to take the stage at the iconic Kalita Humphreys Theater. This chilling adaptation of The Woman in Black follows Arthur Kipps, a young lawyer sent to a remote town to settle the affairs of a deceased woman, only to find himself face to face with something far darker than paperwork. Strange sightings, an eerie presence, and a tragic past that refuses to stay buried make for a night of theater that gets under your skin and stays there.
May 15-16
Dee & Charles Wyly Theatre
Dallas Black Dance Theatre closes out its season in spectacular fashion with PRISMATIC, the 2026 Spring Celebration Series finale at the culmination of a year-long journey of METAMORPHOSIS. Two world premieres anchor the program, Brandon Palmer's 1410, Marc Spaulding's Before I Am Called, and Katricia Eaglin's Shadow Work, alongside the highly anticipated return of Richard A. Freeman Jr.'s Polarity II and a special guest performance by DBDT: Encore. When light bends and elements refract, something extraordinary emerges. This is Dallas Black Dance Theatre at its most brilliant, and it is not to be missed.
Saturday, May 16
AT&T Discovery District
The Streetwear Market brings 70-plus vendors indoors and outdoors for a free, all-day shopping experience covering everything from streetwear and vintage finds to jerseys, designer pieces, and icy jewelry.
Saturday, May 16
Harwood Park
Goat Yoga at Harwood Park brings together mindful movement and the undeniable charm of baby goats for a one-of-a-kind outdoor experience in the heart of Dallas. Whether you are a seasoned yogi or just here for the goats, this is the kind of only-in-Dallas morning that leaves you smiling long after you roll up your mat.
Saturday, May 16
The Reserve at The Highland
Stretch and Sip at The Spa Yoga Studio kicks off with an hour of grounding Hatha yoga led by Dallas instructor Melissa Patiño, designed to leave you restored and recharged rather than worn out. After class, stay and sip with a complimentary mimosa or mocktail at The Reserve, plus a voucher for 20% off a future spa service at The Spa at The Highland and dining at The Reserve.
Saturday, May 16
Cotton Bowl Stadium
Dallas Trinity FC faces off against Fort Lauderdale United FC at Cotton Bowl Stadium at Fair Park, with kickoff set for 7:30pm. Whether you are a die-hard supporter or just looking for a great Saturday night out under the lights, there is no better place to catch live soccer than the historic Cotton Bowl Stadium.
May 15-17
Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center
Some musical experiences transcend the concert hall, and Mahler's Symphony of a Thousand is one of them. Rarely performed due to its sheer, overwhelming scale, this is the kind of event Dallas audiences may not see again for a generation. The symphony opens with a thunderous unleashing of sound built around the hymn "Come, Creative Spirit," before transporting listeners to the final scene of Goethe's Faust.
Friday, May 15
Nasher Sculpture Center
Every third Friday from March through October, the Nasher Sculpture Center transforms into one of the most magical after-hours experiences in Dallas. Til Midnight at the Nasher is completely free and open to the public, running from 6pm to midnight with live outdoor concerts, film screenings, and full access to the Nasher's stunning galleries and garden.
Check back next week for more of the best things to do in Dallas, because there's always something new to discover in Dallas.
