The Sunset Safari Block Party brings together the Dallas Zoo, Visit Dallas, Halperin Park, and East Dock from 6:30 to 10pm for a night of celebration, cultural performances, and the soccer-themed fan zone Goal Wild at Illuminature. Halperin Park
Oak Cliff is celebrating Juneteenth the right way on Saturday, June 20 from 11am to 3pm at Halperin Park. This free, family-friendly community celebration presented by For Oak Cliff features live music from The Black Canvas Band and a marching band, a Juneteenth message from Pastor Freddie Haynes, Black-owned vendors, trolley tours of the historic Tenth Street District, the Little Mr. and Miss Juneteenth Contest, line dancing, community karaoke, and a farmers market and cooking demo from Oak Cliff Veggie Project.
