The holidays are here, and we've gathered our favorite annual events, along with some new ways to bring in the season and inspire your holiday planning this year.
Enjoy the family favorite Dallas Zoo Lights through January 4. This spectacular holiday event transforms the zoo into a luminous escape with over two million lights and more than 60 larger-than-life glowing lanterns. Wander through holiday-themed displays, visit Santa's Village to meet the jolly old elf, and marvel at the unique Illuminated Art Show.
Families can also enjoy the wonder of Dallas Zoo Lights for Sensory Friendly Night on December 16. These activities are designed to have smaller crowds, a lower volume of music, designated safe havens, and an opportunity to meet Santa Claus.
Step into a holiday fantasy at Klyde Warren Park's annual tree lighting on December 7 fro 4PM - 7PM. This vibrant event sparkles with activities and entertainment for all ages. Snap a memorable photo with Santa, get lost in the enchanting story time with Mrs. Claus, and dive into the fun with face painting, crafts, and games. The atmosphere buzzes with live performances from the Dallas Conservatory, Emerald City Band, and many more! The evening's highlight? The magical lighting of The Mayor’s Tree at 6 PM, an iconic moment not to be missed.
Experience the sounds of the Dallas Symphony. The DSO has announced an exciting lineup of holiday programming including, Christmas Pops, KINGS ReJOYCE! and Elf™ in Concert. Check out the full list of holiday shows and be sure to grab your ticket early as seating is very limited.
Take the kiddos to Trains at NorthPark now through January 5, 2024. Delight in this 35+ year tradition with 1,600 feet of model train tracks where all proceeds benefit families at Ronald McDonald House of Dallas.
