It has already become one of the most exciting additions to the Dallas dining scene, offering an atmosphere that feels both intimate and effortlessly stylish. We are impressed they earned a MICHELIN Star only forty-eight days after opening.

Mamani shows they are playing in a league of its own. We highly recommend you start off with something palatable on their bites menu. Croquettes are rich and savory with a golden crisp exterior. The inside is filled with silky Benton’s Country Ham and Manchego that melt together like a dream. The Panisse is a standout spin that takes chickpeas and turns them into something elegant: perfectly soft on the inside, lightly crisped on the outside, and paired with a smoky, paprika-kissed aioli.

But the pasta? Before it even reaches the table the Honeynut Squash Agnolotti aroma fills the air. This pillowy pasta pockets dish is filled with sweet butternut squash and is finished with sage and brown butter.

Then comes the showstopper: the Grilled Whole Branzino. Delicately charred, impossibly moist, and draped in a silky garlicky sauce. It’s balanced by a fresh radish salad that cuts through the richness with a perfect snap. The omakase menu follows the traditional Edomae sushi approach, serving 15 pieces of nigiri, a seasonal hand roll, miso soup, dessert, and one or two thoughtful appetizers. Every piece is carefully crafted by Chef Tatsuya Sekiguchi, drawing on decades of experience and classical Japanese technique. One must try the perfectly seasoned rice sourced from Hokkaido to the carefully selected fish that builds in flavor intensity as the meal progresses.

With just two seatings per night at 5:30 pm and 7:45 pm, Tuesday through Saturday, guests are encouraged to arrive on time and fully present. Tatsu remains one of the hardest reservations in town. If you are fortunate to secure a seat, the experience is intimate to share together as it is very thoughtful, and definitely uniquely elevated.

The Fish and Chips offers a beautifully crisp exterior with tender, flaky fish inside, an homage to the dish’s roots with a clear chef-driven refinement. The Kingfish Ceviche brought coconut, lime, and chili jam together for a bright and refreshing bite. The
