Water Walk at Galleria Dallas
On Saturday, April 18, North Texans are invited to participate in a Water Walk at Galleria Dallas in support of Paper for Water’s mission of funding water and sanitation projects worldwide to create opportunities for better health, increased education and brighter futures.
Starting at 9 a.m., participants will walk through Galleria Dallas, many carrying large water containers, to demonstrate and learn about the difficult conditions facing those who live without access to clean water. Participation in the event begins at $50 and organizers hope to raise enough funds to help 600 new people gain access to clean water and sanitation.
Since its inception, Paper for Water has facilitated water installations in dozens of countries across four continents.
