The shortest month of the year brings plenty of ways to discover Dallas. From Black History Month, Valentine's Day, and a few special days in between, there's much to celebrate this month! Check out a few events, restaurants, landmarks, and attractions you must experience in Dallas this February.

Take a visit to the Pan-African Connection Bookstore in South Dallas. More than a bookstore, this art gallery and resource center specializes in books on the history, health, and forward movement of Black people. They also offer educational programming, wellness classes, and community conversations.

The African American Museum in Fair Park is devoted to the preservation and display of African American artistic, cultural, and historical materials. The current exhibitions are "Protecting Cultural Memory," offers visitors a rare behind-the-scenes perspective on the Museum’s ongoing commitment to preserving, conserving, and safeguarding the priceless art, artifacts, and archival materials entrusted to its care, and "Sunday Call to Church: The Art of Clementine Hunter," which invites visitors into the colorful world of one of America’s most admired self-taught folk artists.

Tour the Kimpton Pittman Hotel
