Poetry in Community
Join your neighbors for a night of poetry, craft, and community connection on Saturday, October 24, from 7–9 PM at Tre Stelle Coffee Co., 17390 Preston Rd., Suite 210, Dallas, TX 75252. This event is FREE and it's kid friendly!
Settle in with a coffee or drink from Tre Stelle and enjoy featured readings from Immanuel A. Garcia and Veronica Pamindanan. After the featured poets, stick around for an open mic hosted by Kamilah Valentin Diaz — a chance to share your own work in a welcoming space ready to listen and celebrate local voices.
Gathered Voices DFW is presented by ArtsUmoja, organized by Janny Chang, with Kamilah Valentin Diaz as co-organizer and open mic host.
RSVPs are encouraged so we can plan for seating and the open mic. The form is here: https://forms.gle/HcamSif3Zc7P.... Walk-ins are welcome as space allows. Follow @gatheredvoicesdfw on Instagram for updates and future gatherings.
Guests are welcome to arrive early, purchase coffee or other drinks from Tre Stelle, and mingle before the featured readings. Featured poet performances will be followed by an open mic and continued conversation.
