Bishop Arts and Oak Cliff in general has been known for hosting several events focused around Hispanic culture and its influence. The neighborhood buzzes with color, murals, shops, and food spots that celebrate Latino creativity. Walking the district is like stepping into the heart of Dallas' Hispanic heritage.

3Dinner at Hugo’s Seafood Bar

Hugo's Seafood Bar on Bishop is my favorite to go to for seafood. The atmosphere is energetic, the cocktails are impressive, and the menu blends Mexican flavors with the best from the sea. It's Michael's pick for ending a Saturday on a high note.

Sunday morning during Hispanic Heritage Month is the perfect time to visit Dallas Farmers Market. Here you'll find Hispanic-owned booths featuring everything from handmade crafts to authentic food. Cooler weather makes it ideal for wandering between stalls and sampling local flavors.

2Brunch at Casa Vieja or Argentina Bakery

Casa Vieja is one of my favorite Colombian resaurants that has all the classics. Argentina Bakery in Irving is the spot for baked goods and to take care of your coffee fix! Wheather you're craving a hearty traditional meal or something sweet and freshly baked, these two spots make for a warm satifsfying Sunday brunch.

3Dinner at El Carlos Elegante

El Carlos Elegante, one of my favorite Mexican restaurants, is a perfect places for a nice dinner with delicious food, and a great tequila list! Elegant, modern and rooted in Mexican tradition, it's the kind of place to close out the weekend in style.
