德克萨斯发现花园
Since opening in 1936 as the Hall of Horticulture during the Texas Centennial Exposition, Texas Discovery Gardens has been a living classroom and lush sanctuary for nature lovers of all ages. Nearly nine decades later, we remain one of North Texas’s most cherished public gardens—cultivating a greener future and inspiring our community to reconnect with nature. Our seven acres of curated native and adapted gardens, along with the world-famous Sammon’s Butterfly House and Insectarium, offer endless opportunities to explore, learn, and play. Step into our tropical conservatory to encounter free-flying butterflies, meet our charming axolotls, or visit the Snake and Reptile Building. History lovers can admire the preserved 1936 Cement House, while young adventurers can enjoy the outdoor playscape or watch model trains pass a miniature Alamo. Whether picnicking in the meadow, wandering among seasonal blooms, or learning about sustainability, there’s truly something for everyone.
