On September 25th, CANVAS Hotel Dallas hosts a limited time event, 'The Death of a Gangster,' an exclusive murder mystery experience at Chef's Palette.

Lucky you! You've been invited to the wedding of the year. In this 'married to the mob' affair, you'll never know who to trust. With two families merging, someone is bound to lose power, which means someone else will lose their life. Team up with your fellow detectives, work the room, and solve the case before the killer strikes again.

A three-course dinner will be served as the mystery unfolds around you. Come ready in your best 1920s attire, costume participation is encouraged to complete the experience.

Appetizers (choice of one):

House Salad (mixed greens, tomatoes, sliced cucumber, carrots, cheddar cheese);

Tuna Tartare (tuna, compressed cucumber, wonton chips, pickled carrots, basil oil).

Entrees (choice of one):

Loaded Steak Frites (steak and fries with caramelized onion beurre blanc, Gorgonzola crumbles)

Horseradish-Crusted Salmon (horseradish crust, couscous, tarragon emulsion)

Chicken and Artichoke Pasta (grilled chicken, sauteed artichokes, sun-dried tomatoes, spinach, penne, garlic cream sauce, basil oil).

Desserts (choice of one):

Death by Chocolate Lava Cake (raspberry sauce, vanilla ice cream)

Murder Scene Cheesecake (berry compote, raspberry coulis).
