Cinematic Nothingness: World Premiere at the Texas Theatre
Join Oak Cliff Film Presents and SFN Productions for the World Premiere of Cinematic Nothingness, the debut feature film from North Texas filmmaker Brey Browne.
Six years in the making, Cinematic Nothingness is a fully improvised experimental comedy that began with one simple idea: make a feature film with no script, no plan, and no idea what it would become. What follows is a hilarious and unexpectedly honest exploration of creativity, filmmaking, and the beautifully chaotic process of trying to make something out of nothing.
Produced by Kelsie Key & Brey Browne of Fort Worth-based Something From Nothing Productions, the film features a cast of North Texas actors and filmmakers and was shot throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area, including scenes filmed inside the historic Texas Theatre. Its world premiere brings the project full circle, as audiences will watch scenes unfold in the very theater where they were originally filmed.
Your $12 ticket includes the feature film screening, a live Q&A with filmmaker Brey Browne, and the official premiere after party.
Whether you're a filmmaker, film lover, or simply looking for a unique night at the movies, come celebrate independent filmmaking and the North Texas creative community at this special one-night event.
