Dallas Soccer Kick-Off Fest 2026
Taste of Oak Cliff, in partnership with Harold Simmons Park, is organizing Dallas Soccer Kick-Off Fest 2026, a free community event taking place May 30–31 at the Ronald Kirk Bridge and Felix Lozada Gateway. The festival builds toward Dallas hosting the 2026 World Cup, highlighting local culture, food, music, and community engagement while spotlighting Oak Cliff’s identity through public-facing programming led by Taste of Oak Cliff.
Activities include youth soccer clinics, a Dallas Trinity FC Kids Zone featuring Dallas Trinity FC, Atlético Dallas activation areas, West Dallas Soccer Club programming, and a City Futsal 3v3 tournament. Fitness and recreation events include Runners Unidos 5K, 10K, and Kids 1K dash, plus Dallas Bike Coalition rides through the Trinity Floodway and Dallas Loop Cyclists “Ride-In,” led by Dallas Bike Coalition.
Family and cultural programming spans KERA activity zones and the Summer Learning Challenge by KERA, PBS Kids Nature Cat appearances, and an Angry Birds activation featuring Red from Angry Birds. Additional highlights include folklórico performances, Dallas Folk Dancers, Latino Cultural Center art activations, mural and botanical art installations, live DJs, dance pop-ups, face painting, and walk-around characters.
Community resources include City of Dallas Animal Services adoption truck, first responders touch truck, and vendor markets such as Dallas TIFO Market, West Dallas Chamber, Friends of Oak Cliff Chamber, and Mercy Street Soccer activations, all contributing to a large-scale, family-friendly celebration of soccer and community ahead of the World Cup.
