Picasso's 'Dream and Lie of Franco:' The Spanish Civil War in Print
June 2017 will mark 80 years since Geurnica by Pablo Picasso made to show the horrible events of the Spanish Civil War. This exhibition celebrates this and shows off prints from the Meadow collection.
The prints were called the Dream and of Franco to show support for the Spanish Republican government. The prints were very political in nature and used satire to show his feels towards Francisco Franco who led the Nationalist movement.
