Filming Kennedy-Home Movies from Dallas

A special exhibition of over one dozen home movies featuring John F. Kennedy from 1960 through 1963, taken by Dallas area residents. The exhibition also features profiles of the men and women behind the home movie cameras and a hands-on educational area.

Tony N' Tina's Wedding

At Tony N' Tina's Wedding, audience members actually play the roles of Tony N' Tina's family and/or friends. These are roles we all take on every time we attend a real wedding. This universal familiarity with the union of two individuals from two distinct families, regardless as to where you are from, will take you back and forth between fantasy and reality throughout the entire evening.

J.M.W. Turner Exhibition

This exhibition of approximately 140 works, divided almost evenly between oils and works on paper, will include masterworks representing Turner's extensive range of subjects - seascapes, historical events, mythology, and scenes from his own fertile imagination.

1893 World's Fair

The influence of the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago on Dallas and Texas residents is brought to life in special exhibits and through historically costumed characters sharing their Fair plans and visits.

Stingray Bay

Feed and interact with these flat-winged cousins of the shark. Known for a long tail with a sharp barb that can be quite dangerous, these stingrays are safe to touch and a delight to watch.

Mommy and Me MONDAYS

Due to the popularity of the program, they have been extended to run all the way though the spring this year with new activities and experiences that will be sure to please both you and your little one. These fun filled, action packed activities will be held every Monday in The Pecan Grove throughout Dallas Blooms 2008 and are focused on nature, health, safety, and fitness. 10 to 2 pm.

Tiny Tot TUESDAYS

Julian Onderdonk: Bluebonnets and Beyond

This exhibition presents the first critical reexamination of the work of Julian Onderdonk (1882-1922), one of Texas' most important painters and one of the most overlooked landscape artists of the early 20th century.
