The district was a collection of warehouses and a few shops until it became the busiest trolley stop in the 1930s. The area has been renovated and revitalized over the last two decades and is now one of the best-kept secrets south of downtown Dallas. The oldest Dallas district offers shops for vintage clothes, soda pop shop, ice cream parlor, antiques, crafts and more.
