Bishop Arts District
Explore the history and future of Dallas all in one place. Once one of Dallas' best hidden treats, this two-block former warehouse area sits in the Oak Cliff neighborhood of Southern Dallas. It's home to more than 60 boutiques, restaurants, bars, coffee shops and galleries, making it one of Dallas' most unique (and not-so-secret) districts.
Spread over 20 square blocks and encompassing 68 acres, the walkable downtown hub of creativity features art for all the senses with award-winning museums, performing arts venues and restaurants, while an arts magnet high school, Booker T. Washington, inspires tomorrow's brilliant artists.
Find antique shops and upscale art galleries next door to high-end interior design show rooms in the Design District, just two miles northwest of Downtown. There's also a plethora of dining options and breweries, giving this district even more reason to visit.
A neon sign beckons as you drive down Good Latimer Expressway, glowing bright with Deep Ellum Texas and an arrow pointing to a former warehouse district now transformed into the nightlife hotspot for live music, cool bars and casual eateries.
