Remembering Black Dallas: A Living Museum


Come and witness these little known Dallasites come to life from rare dusty files to center stage to reveal their legacy in Dallas history This living museum features a few everyday ordinary yet extraordinary local African-Americans of Dallas by telling their story. These selected natives of Dallas tell and show us what life was like in Dallas during the late1800's-1960's. You will hear true accounts of what living in the realms and aftermath of slavery, reconstruction, Jim Crow, and the civil rights movement in Dallas.

Personal accounts of local life, family, and communities are revealed. All cultures and races are welcomed to experience this never seen before unique debut of Remembering Black Dallas: A Living Museum. There will be two shows only. Friday, January 31st at 7:00 P.M. and Saturday February 1st starting at 6:00 P.M
