The Oak Lawn Band will present "Feeling Lucky?" a celebration of fate and fortune on March 17 at the Latino Cultural Center. This family-friendly event will feature music from a variety of lucky inspirations from Irish folk tunes, to rainbows to the glitz of casinos. Some featured pieces include "Over the Rainbow" by Harold Arlen, "Molly on the Shore" and "Irish Tune From County Derry," by Percy Grainger, "Perthshire Majesty," by Samuel Hazo, and Daft Punk's "Get Lucky." "Since the concert is on St. Patrick's day, we decided to have some fun and play with the ideas of things we believe bring us luck," said Oak Lawn Band Artistic Director Marc Dunbar. " We've got a little traditional charm, a variety of rainbows, some Hollywood glamour and somehow an appearance by both Godzilla and Elvis in a single composition - you've got to see it to believe it."
