The nonprofit AT&T Performing Arts Center encompasses 10 acres within the downtown Dallas Arts District. The Center includes four unique venues: the Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House, Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre, Annette Strauss Square and Elaine D. and Charles A. Sammons Park, as well as Lexus Red and Silver underground parking areas.
The Center presents a diverse array of exciting programs year-round including the Broadway Series, Off Broadway On Flora, #thinkspeak speaker series, TITAS Presents world dance and music, Classical Series, Center Presents concerts and more. In addition, the venues feature groundbreaking performances by the Center's resident companies: Anita N. Martinez Ballet Folklorico, Dallas Black Dance Theatre, The Dallas Opera, Dallas Theater Center and Texas Ballet Theater.
The Center also features free community programs including Thursday late afternoon Patio Sessions concerts in the spring and fall, a free fitness program Saturday morning called Local Motion and a big holiday event Reliant Lights Your Holidays in December. On Friday, October 16, 2015, the Center will present Aurora, an expansive outdoor light and new-media art exposition that stretches across the Dallas Arts District that has drawn more than 30,000 visitors.
