New Restaurants

This Deep Ellum sports bar opened this summer as a place for burgers, wings and outside-the-box apps, including fried pickled serrano peppers and crispy fried ribeye bites. Pose for pics in front of graffiti art between games on 30 TVs throughout the space.
Culinary Dropout
Noteworthy as the Design District’s first-ever restaurant with a rooftop, Culinary Dropout delivers spectacular views of downtown Dallas and Victory Park. Catch a game on the video wall, groove to tunes spinning in the DJ booth and fill up on sushi, sandwiches, Detroit-style pizza and spicy vegan curry.
The Charlotte
The newest Henderson Avenue hotspot debuted on September 30, promising comforting Southern fare infused with bold global flavors led by chef Wyl Lima. Indulge in creative dishes, including shrimp and cheesy grits or ramen gumbo, a brilliant fusion of flavor-forward cultures in one bowl.
Nuri Steakhouse
Since August 20, Dallasites have found culinary joy in the Asian-influenced steakhouse, a collab between chef Mario Hernandez and South Korea’s Michelin-recognized chef Minji Kim. Noteworthy options range from decadent caviar service and whole Korean-style lobster to a massive 40-ounce Texas Akaushi Heartbrand Reserve porterhouse with charred green onion, grilled peppers, ssamjang and kimchi butter.
Even Coast
Far North Dallas embraced this elevated neighborhood dining destination when it opened mid-summer on Belt Line Road. Beloved local chef Omar Flores and the Marshi Family wanted to create an experience that features elegant food in an approachable environment. The seafood-centric menu includes a full raw bar, grilled octopus, Texas redfish and hearty steaks for the non-fish eaters.
LOCAL Public Eatery
In late September, the Knox District received an infusion of Canadian hospitality with the first-ever Texas location of the popular chain. Elevated food awaits in a relaxed pub setting. Signature dishes include fried chicken, burgers, and frozen Ranch Water cocktails.Photos: Food + beverage HERE | Interior renderings HERE
Doughbird
Head to Inwood Village for the latest from Fox Restaurant Concepts (Flower Child, The Henry, Culinary Dropout). The first-in-Texas Doughbird boasts a variety of pizza styles, ranging from hand-stretched to Detroit-style (plus a gluten-free crust option), as well as pasta, sandwiches and comfort classics such as chicken pot pie.
Coming Later in 2024
Catch
Uptown will soon welcome Catch Dallas, the eighth location nationwide of the NYC-based Catch Hospitality Group. Expect all the favorites that made this concept a smash hit, including Truffle Sashimi and tableside hot-rock Japanese Wagyu. The two-story outdoor patio will undoubtedly draw crowds as soon as the doors open this fall.
Bar Sardine
Coming later this fall or early winter, Bar Sardine aims to capture the vibe of American bars in Manhattan’s West Village. The intimate, casual space will heavily focus on cocktails, accompanied by curated bites. And yes, true to the name, there will be sardines.
El Molino
While simultaneously launching Bar Sardine, the Vandaley Hospitality team works hard on another Snider Plaza premiere. This time, it’s the restaurant group’s first-ever Mexican restaurant, specializing in wood-grilled and smoked fajitas when it opens at the end of the year.
Rose Café & Le PasSage
Celebrated Dallas chef Bruno Davaillon collaborates with restaurateur Stephan Corseau for a duo of restaurants being unveiled this fall at the Terminal at Katy Trail. The casual cafe will feature cozy nooks and a beautiful patio with views of the trail. The menu leans Asian and Mediterranean in its versions of soups, salads and sandwiches. Meanwhile, Le PasSage draws inspiration in the Orient Express with French and Asian influences in its refined, elegant creations.
