State Fair of Texas Tips and Tricks to Know Before You Go
They say everything’s bigger in Texas, and our annual State Fair is no exception! From the famous Fletcher’s corny dog to the Texas Star Ferris wheel, the fair brings 24 days of family fun and entertainment to Dallas every fall.
Dates: The Fair runs for 24 consecutive days each fall, making it the longest-running fair in the nation. In 2023, the State Fair of Texas will be open Sept. 29 - Oct. 22.
Cost: Daily admission tickets are $5-25 per person, but there are special discounts available on select days. You can also buy a season pass for $50 and visit as many times as you want!
Getting there: The Fair is held in historic Fair Park, located at 3809 Grand Ave. in South Dallas. Parking is available from $20-40 per car at official Fair lots. Pro tip – take the DART Green Line to Fair Park Station and avoid traffic and parking altogether.
