Juneteenth 2025 Free Admission Day
In honor of Juneteenth, join us for free admission and programming throughout the day. A federal holiday, Juneteenth marks the day in 1865 when federal troops arrived in Galveston, Texas, and informed residents of the end of the Civil War and the abolition of slavery. This announcement came more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.
