Negroni Week at Bourbon & Banter
The legendary Negroni cocktail traces its origins to Florence, Italy, where Count Camillo Negroni first asked a bartender to strengthen his favorite Americano by swapping soda for gin. This timeless drink has been a symbol of sophistication ever since — and there’s no better place to honor it than North Texas’ favorite speakeasy, Bourbon & Banter, tucked beneath The Statler Dallas.
From Sept. 22–28, Bourbon & Banter will celebrate Negroni Week with a curated lineup of specialty cocktails, each priced at $20 with $1 from every drink benefiting Slow Food’s mission to foster a more equitable and sustainable world of food and beverage. Guests can savor inventive takes on the classic, including:
• Kingston Negroni – Smith & Cross Jamaican Rum, Campari, sweet vermouth
• Eeyore’s Requiem – St. George Terroir Gin, Cynar, Fernet-Branca, blanc vermouth, orange bitters
• Polka Dot Negroni – Tanqueray No. 10 Gin, Salers Gentian, blanc vermouth
• Left Hand – Old Forester 100 Bourbon, Campari, sweet vermouth, chocolate bitters
