Dallas' food scene is always spectacular, and it doesn't seem to have any intention on stopping based on the new restaurants popping up over town this year. If you're like us and love delicious bites and exciting foodie experiences, check out these new restaurants in Dallas.
Downtown
This new neighborhood bar and grill serves savory Southern-inspired comfort food in a casual, down-to-earth atmosphere. Come for brunch and enjoy southern-brunch favorites like Chicken N' Waffles or the Texas Pecan Sticky Bun. Or stop by during happy hour Monday through Friday 2-7 p.m. for specialty bourbons and cocktails.
Harwood District
Opened in February, The Henry has already established itself as a hotspot eatery. Serving up contemporary American cuisine, this upscale, modern restaurant has everything from kale salads and club sandwiches to short ribs and rotisserie chicken. Also, be sure to check out their drink menu, which includes an extensive wine list and imaginative cocktails.

Uptown
Making its U.S. debut in Uptown, the Guatemalan bakery is one of the best spots to sample a wide variety of pastries, cakes, pastas and more. Got a sweet tooth? Go for the Dulce de Leche filled cupcakes or the Muertito, a traditional sweet soft bread with orange zest. Need something more filling? Then go for the Pasta Alla Vodka. Don't miss out on the seasonal pastry offerings for something new to try each month.
Uptown
This casual eatery offers an energetic and noteworthy dining experience with its flavorful menu of authentic Mexican dishes. Order any of the shareable plates, like the Ceviche Punta Cana – a plate with Tiger shrimp, pico de gallo and avocado – or the Queso Verde, which is big enough to share, but good enough to hoard.
Knox/Henderson District
The cute and approachable bistro sits at the edge of the Knox/Henderson District and is the perfect spot for a casual and cool dining experience. Indulge yourself with the delectable Italian and American cuisine, while sipping on your favorite glass of wine.
Harwood District
Set in The Union, the swanky Italian restaurant has become a hotspot for made from scratch pastas and authentic North Italian staple dishes. Menu highlights include the Bolognese pasta, short rib radiator pasta and the roasted salmon, as well as their various Italian wines.
Victory Park
The eye-catching, contemporary restaurant features a stellar menu of American cuisine, alongside a noteworthy drink menu. Enjoy indoor and outdoor seating, as well as multiple games (think foosball, ping pong and arcade games) throughout the restaurant. For an added bonus, the restaurant is open Monday – Sunday until 12 a.m. and has a special late-night menu.
Victory Park
Its six bars, various games, immense selection of beers on tap, as well as its prime location in Victory Plaza, make HERO a great hangout spot with friends. Add in the numerous TVs (including a 24-foot LED wall) in the restaurant, and there's plenty of opportunities to catch a game and root for your favorite teams. Just make sure to get here early on game days, as the bar gets packed with fans!

Victory Park
Jinya Ramen Bar serves up some of the best and authentic ramen in the region. Enjoy everything from the Tomkotsu Spicy ramen to Lobster Me Happy Ramen, or even customize your bowl to your taste in this chic bar. Not into ramen? Don't worry. Jinya Ramen Bar also has tapas, salads and more to satisfy your taste buds.
Deep Ellum
Don't let the name fool you – Bitter End offers delicious bites in a lively atmosphere. The restaurant is known for their oysters, so head over for reverse Happy Hour from 10 p.m.– 2 a.m. daily for $1.50 oysters or come for dinner to savor specialty seafood.
Deep Ellum
Stop by Deep Ellum's latest bar and restaurant, Punch Bowl Social. The bar, inspired by the famous Deep Ellum neighborhood, combines vintage and rustic décor and features two floors of thrilling entertainment. Enjoy mouthwatering items from the scratch kitchen, like the Falafel Burger or Sweet & Spice Wings or grab a one of the many craft beers at one of the three bars inside. Afterward, challenge your friends to one of the many games, like bowling or ping pong, or test your singing skills in the private karaoke lounge.

Trinity Groves
Set in the foodie-centric Dallas neighborhood, K's House brings bold and unique flavors with its Korean barbecue cuisine. Diners are also the chefs and grill the barbecue at their own table for a full hands-on dining experience.
Sylvan 30
This modern restaurant offers delicious and filling Vietnamese subs, along with a variety of sides. Try the Viet-style duck confit Banh Mi or enjoy the Vietucky Fried Chicken Bao. Just be sure to save room dessert, which consists of yummy soft serve ice cream.

Bishop Arts
With its bright and colorful exterior and vibrant setting, this new eatery on Davis Street is hard to miss. Featuring Mexican-styled seafood, Ceviche Oyster Bar has what you need to satisfy your cravings. Start with the Mexican shrimp cocktails or have the Ceviche Mixto Tostadas.
Bishop Arts
The restaurant and one-stop shop boast mouthwatering vegan Creole cuisine. Some favorites on the menu are the Spicy Buffalo Cauliflower wings, Chick'em Sammich and Shrimp and Grits. Although there's usually a line out the door, the food makes it worth the wait.
East Dallas
With its rustic décor, friendly staff and cozy atmosphere, Hillside Tavern gives off the impression it's been around for ages. Grab a table and order the ever-popular 4 Cheese Sourdough Patty Melt or have a seat at the bar and sip on one the many beers they have on tap.
Oak Lawn
Aptly name Homewood, everything from its warm ambience to carefully prepared food makes this spot feel homey. Taste the locally sourced and made from scratch plates, while enjoying the laidback and charming environment.
Lowest Greenville
When you first locate the café, you may think you've taken a wrong turn into a neighborhood, but don't be fooled. This trendy café is set in a picturesque 100-year-old white house with a large patio and picket fence that only adds to its charm. Enjoy organic coffees and teas while munching on organic snacks and light bites.

Lower Greenville
With its shotgun-style dining room, vintage-inspired décor and spacious patio area, this Lower Greenville restaurant epitomizes "Southern elegance." Diners can expect to dig into hearty burgers, steak tartare or pastrami, along with drinking one of their delicious cocktails.
North Dallas
Set in Preston Center, the new North Dallas restaurant is a chic and beautiful place to dine. Indulge yourself with entrees like chicken piccata, Mediterranean Sea bass and eggplant parmesan or sit at the spacious full-service bar an enjoy their wide selection of white, red and sparkling wines.
North Dallas
Come with your friends and enjoy a laidback dining experience at bartaco.
