Visit Dallas Announces New Chief Marketing Officer
Jennifer Walker joins team with almost three decades of marketing and hospitality experience.
DALLAS, Nov. 18, 2021 – Today Visit Dallas announced the selection of Jennifer Walker as its new Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. She officially joins the organization this week.
Walker has almost three decades of extensive experience in the marketing and hospitality industries. She joins Visit Dallas from AVB Marketing in Sacramento, California, a full-service digital marketing agency. Before AVB, Walker served as Director of Brand Advertising at Visit California for two years and Vice President of Marketing and Strategy for Visit Santa Barbara for two years. No stranger to Texas, prior to her tenure in California, Walker served as the Director of Marketing Communications for Visit Austin for almost eight years and previously worked for multiple advertising agencies.

Walker will be responsible for directing the planning, development and comprehensive execution of Visit Dallas' marketing, branding and communications strategies to increase awareness and drive demand for visitation to Dallas, as well as elevate and enhance the destination's brand.
