Hyatt Regency General Manager, Michael Koffler, Appointed Visit Dallas Board Chair-Elect
Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson has appointed Michael J. Koffler, general manager of the Hyatt Regency Dallas at Reunion, as Visit Dallas Board of Directors Chair-Elect.
DALLAS, Jan. 29, 2021 – Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson has appointed Michael J. Koffler, general manager of the Hyatt Regency Dallas at Reunion, as Visit Dallas Board of Directors Chair-Elect. Koffler will serve in this capacity for one year and then will serve as Chair beginning January 2022.

A lifelong hospitality professional and advocate for the community, Koffler has served as the general manager of the Hyatt Regency Dallas at Reunion since 2019. He has been with Hyatt for almost 40 years.
"I look forward to working with Visit Dallas and sharing the story of what makes our city so special," said Koffler. "I appreciate Mayor Johnson for this appointment and his support of the hospitality community."
In January 2022, Koffler will replace current Chair Dave Brown, Chief Operating Officer/General Manager of the American Airlines Center.
