The Team
The Dallas Mavericks franchise was founded in 1980 and is a member of the Western Conference. The Mavs have won three division titles (1987, 2007 and 2010) and made four Western Conference Finals appearances (1988, 2003, 2006 and 2011) before winning their first NBA Championship against the Miami Heat in 2011. Win or lose, Mavs fans are loyal – they continuously have sellout crowds and one of the highest home game attendance records. The Mavericks franchise has an extensive list of notable players including Steve Nash, Michael Finley, Jason Kidd, Vince Carter and of course, Dirk Nowitzki.

The dining scene in Victory Park is rapidly growing. Enjoy tasty Texas-inspired cuisine at Billy Can Can or authentic Mexican dishes at Mesero. Music fans, enjoy good food and musical tunes at House of Blues, located just a few blocks from the AAC.
Get To Know The AAC
Built in 2001, the AAC is a premier sports and entertainment arena that’s home to both the Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Stars, as well as concerts by some of the biggest names in music. Its unique versatility makes it an ideal place to enjoy both sports and concerts under the same roof. Grab a bite to eat at the dozens of eateries in the arena including fan favorites like DBQ for all your BBQ cravings or go for the classics like nachos, specialty hot dogs and beer at Big D Dogs + Brews.
Game Day
The Mavericks home game atmosphere is electric and will have you hyped up during the entire game. From the Mavs ManiAACs to the Mavs mascots, Champ and Mavs Man, to the Drumline – you’re sure to be entertained all game long. If you happen to not show up game day dressed, stop by the fan shops inside the arena.

Go for a celebratory beer at Hero located right outside the AAC, and the nearby bar Happiest Hour is just a short walk away, with a large indoor and outdoor space, rooftop patio and plenty of signature cocktails and apps to share with friends.
