Commemorate the life of John F. Kennedy with a trip to the Sixth Floor Museum
Take a journey through JFK's time in Dallas.
If you've never visited the museum, or maybe it's been a while since your last visit – the Sixth Floor has safely reopened and is ready to welcome you! They've taken all the proper precautions for guests to experience a safe and socially distanced experience.
Grab your audio guide as you explore historic images, news footage, artifacts and more as part of the main exhibit. Take a trip up to the seventh floor to see Art Reframes History, the museum's special exhibit and collection of art exploring the life and legacy of President Kennedy through a variety of ways that artists explore history. The exhibit features 10 different artistic examples showcasing the creativity that one historic event can bring.
No museum trip is complete without a souvenir. On your way out, browse through the Museum Bookstore for keepsake items like books, apparel and specialty gifts. If you can't make it in the store, check out their new online store for the History in a Box gift – perfect for your holiday shopping needs!
The museum is also hosting a variety of virtual events, as well as public programming throughout the month – all the details are available on the museum's website. The museum is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets must be purchased online, and face coverings are required for anyone over the age of two years old.
