Can I reserve tickets for Dallas Blooms in advance?
Yes. Tickets and parking passes can be purchased online ahead of your visit.
Is parking available, and how much does it cost?
Yes, parking is available. A pass can be purchased online before your visit. Once purchased, your license plate will be recognized automatically upon entry. Parking is $15 per car, plus taxes, and can be purchased here. Visitor parking is available on site at three Arboretum entrances along Garland Road: the Main Entrance (8525), the Children’s Adventure Garden (8657), and the parking garage (8720).
What should I wear and bring?
Visitors are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes and to bring sun protection (hat and sunscreen) if it is warm, as the gardens cover a large outdoor area. You can also bring a water bottle and refill it at the water bottle refill station at the main plaza area.
Are pets allowed?
Only licensed service animals are permitted in the garden.
Is photography allowed?
Photography with handheld cameras and phones is permitted throughout the garden during regular hours at no extra cost. Professional equipment, including tripods, reflectors, and softboxes, is permitted in the Main Garden only between 3–5pm daily, provided they do not block entrances or disrupt guests. Are there special exhibits, performances, or activities during Dallas Blooms?
Yes. The festival features themed floral displays, sculpture exhibits, weekend chef demonstrations, creative classes, and live music at Jeanne’s Pavilion on weekends.
Is Dallas Blooms suitable for families?
Yes. The event and Arboretum grounds are family-friendly, including exhibits and open space for all ages.
Are wheelchairs and strollers permitted?
Wheelchairs and strollers are permitted in the gardens, including the Children’s Adventure Garden. Complimentary wheelchairs are available at the entrance on a first-come, first-served basis. Mobility scooters can be rented for $20–$30.
What happens in case of bad weather?
If rain is in the forecast, you can reschedule your daytime Arboretum visit at no cost. Use the “Reschedule” link in your confirmation email to pick a new date within the same calendar year for the same ticket type. Be sure to check their social media for weather-related closures.
