Great customer service and experiences can mean something different to everyone. Whether coming to a city as part of a convention, bringing the whole family or traveling solo - each traveler's interests are different and as a result, everyone has different experiences.
At the end of the day, good experiences and service keep people coming back, giving a destination a good name and lend to people telling friends and family about why they should visit that city.
VisitDallas makes the customer experience a priority and has even created a full immersive day to train hospitality frontline employees on high-energy and high-impact customer service. In partnership with hospitality industry leader, Southwest Airlines, VisitDallas is bringing back the Customer Service Master Class: It's Hospitality Y'all for its third year on March 6, 2020 at Southwest Airlines Headquarters.
Here are the highlights:
- Customer Service Master Class is the only training of its kind in Dallas
- VisitDallas is the first Destination Marketing Organization to produce a customer service centric event
- More than 500 hospitality professionals have attended in past events
- This year's event will feature keynote speakers from top industry leaders, Dave Davlin and Libby Spears
- Each attendee will join two engaging breakout sessions that will address specific hospitality industry trends
Not only does this training encourage hospitality employees to go above and beyond to ensure each traveler coming to Dallas is greeted with the Texas hospitality the city is known for, the Customer Service Master Class is one of the first-of-its-kind training that is attended by hundreds. And this year's event features even more exciting keynotes from hospitality heroes, like Southwest Airlines executives and global travel agency experts, as well as interactive breakout sessions that will empower attendees to create magical moments for Dallas visitors.
More than 27 million people visit Dallas every year, spending $5.2 billion and generating a total economic impact of $8.8 billion. Therefore, Dallas is all about over-delivering on the customer experience for both leisure and business travelers alike, which starts with the Customer Service Master Class.
