January means cold days are here (sort of. It is, after all, Texas.) Whether you're bundling up or keeping it light, here's where to get your caffeine fix during your next Dallas getaway.

Weekend Coffee

Nestled inside The Joule Hotel on Main Street, this trendy spot is perfect for people watching before heading out to explore. The excellent service, paired with top-notch cappuccinos, make it an ideal way to start the day, plus the breakfast tacos are a bonus, too!

La Duni
North Dallas/Uptown

The Latin cuisine favorite boasts a menu for coffees alone and the selections are pure magic with coffee recipes ranging from Colombia, Cuba, Brazil, Spain and other countries. Start with the "Vaca Blanca", a mixture of mocha chocolate sprinkles, espresso and cream or the "El Guajiro", a Caribbean-like coffee that is as strong as it is delicious.

Toasted Coffee
East Dallas/Lowest Greenville

Order your coffee alongside one of their signature sandwiches and toasts, all made in their in-house bakery. The Honey I'm Home, a honey wheat bread, butter, peanut butter, honey and sea salt toasty treat, is the perfect companion to a chai tea latte.

Houndstooth Coffee
East Dallas/West Dallas

Grab your cold brew at the bar before grabbing a table to enjoy a book or chat with friends. With two locations in Dallas (one in the growing Sylvan Thirty area and the other on a busy corner in the Knox Henderson neighborhood) the welcoming space is perfect for any day of the week, any time of day.

Zephyr Bakery Cafe

In the heart of the Oak Lawn/Cedar Springs neighborhood and LGBT entertainment district, this European-style cafe serves up some spectacular coffee drinks whether you're looking to linger for a while or grab one on the run. Grab an expresso drink, hot or iced, to get a taste of their featured Italian roasted Bristot beans.

Local Press + Brew
South Dallas

Walk in and you're in for a treat: the airy open space features artwork from locals and the Instagram-worthy space is waiting for you to snap a pic (think succulents, canvas prints and beautiful white walls.) Grab the nut shaken latte with your choice of homemade almond or cacao milk and head to the outdoor patio. Bonus points if you can leave room to taste one of their refreshing glass botted juices (We like the Kessler Park!)
