Chip for chip, dip for dip. There's something to be said about the life-changing guacamole at the Ritz-Carlton. In fact, it should come as no surprise that there's a resident Guacamologist™ who whips up a hearty bowl of this amazing app on a nightly basis. And if having a guacamole expert on-property wasn't enough, you'll be pleased to hear that everyone is invited to join in on the fiesta each night at 6 p.m.
The Ritz-Carlton's premier location off McKinney Avenue make it easy to get to on foot using Dallas' free McKinney Avenue Trolley that will practically drop you off at the doorstep. Take a seat in their plush living room as you wait for the Guacamologist to arrive and within minutes you'll be mingling with fellow guacamole aficionados as you sip on a sample of Dean Fearing's incredible Patron margarita. If Patron isn't your spirit of choice, take note of one of the many tequilas that have been hand-selected and placed into their unique Tequila Vault.
This is, of course, only an amuse-bouche for the rest of the evening. Don't forget to save some room for a few extra ounces of fun at the Rattlesnake Bar. From one end of the bar to the other, slide up and marvel at the slick designs that give the bar it's name. Here you can take part in some of the exquisite libations that can be crafted for your particularly taste.
Hungry? Grab a table at Fearing's restaurant where you can dine casually dine at the chef's table or alfresco on the Ocaso patio.
The Ritz-Carlton's prime location means it's easy to enjoy your evening well after the Guacamoligist has left for the evening. Visitors can hop back on the M-Line Trolley and head north on McKinney Avenue for even more dining and entertainment options, or venture south to partake in the festivities that regularly take place in Dallas' bustling downtown and urban arts district.
