Trompo Tacos may be one of the new kids on the block but that hasn't stopped them from creating some of the most flavorful tacos around.

Head west over the beautiful Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge and within minutes you'll arrive at one of the most sizzling taco joints in Dallas.
Sure, Trompo Taco's weathered orange exterior leaves much to the imagination but the bold, black and white tacos sign serves as the only cue you need to let you know that you've arrived. Located at 839 Singleton Blvd. in West Oak Cliff, Trompo dishes up Monterrey-style street tacos in a no-frills atmosphere where guests can experience the spectacular tacos that are all less than $2.00 each. Not bad, right?
After being named one of Bon Apetit's Best New restaurants in 2016, Trompo continues to surprise their fans with fresh and bold flavors that always leave guests wanting more.
First things first: don't leave without ordering their namesake taco that includes a healthy serving of pork on a corn tortilla, with just the right mix of diced onions and cilantro. The other options include bistek (beef) and their specialty paneer-pablano vegetarian tacos that will make you swoon. All of which are complimented by a delicious duo of red and green salsas that will help you add as little, or as much kick as you can handle.
You'll also want to try their specialty quesadilla that's under four bucks. The Gringo is an open-faced quesadilla that features savory trompo, mozzarella cheese, onions and cilantro. It's perfect as a meal or as a side act to the main event. Just get one and you'll know why!
