Jazz and blues lovers rejoice! Labor Day officially kicks off the fall season and with the change in temps comes some of the coolest festivals and concerts to hit the Big D. Satisfy your jazz or blues cravings this September with these can't miss shows.

Riverfront Jazz Festival

September 1-3

Texas Horse Park - 811 Pemberton Hill Dr. Dallas, Texas 75217

Presented by the Black Academy of Arts & Letters, this festival features more than 30 top jazz, R&B, soul, blues and neo-soul performers for the ultimate Labor Day weekend jam. Artists include Najee, Will Downing and Rachelle Ferrell. Grammy Award-winning (and Arts Magnet alum) Erykah Badu headlines this unforgettable event.

Labor Day Blues & Jazz Festival

September 3

African American Museum - 3536 Grand Avenue Dallas, Texas 75210

Grab your lawn chairs and head to the African American Museum for an evening honoring old school blues and jazz in the heart of South Dallas. R.L. Green, The Buster Brown Band and Sandra Kaye make up some of the incredible lineup of local jazz faves scheduled to hit the stage.
