Here's how to make the most of your weekend NFL Draft experience.
Posted on Mar 26, 2018 By Ashley Turner
The NFL Draft is April 26-28 at AT&T Stadium and the stage is set for the biggest fan experience the Draft has ever seen. The football festival will let fans enjoy daily activities, games and interactives, and it's completely free to attend! If you're making the trip to Dallas, make the most of your visit with our weekend guide.
Know before you go
Hit the ground running from the second you land at DFW or DAL by taking advantage of DART. Both airports offer DART rides into Downtown (use the orange line from DFW and the Love Link from DAL) for just $2.50 with a 2-hour pass.
Get your gear
Let the games begin
Start off the day in Dallas exploring the city's finest attractions and museums. Stroll through the Arts District and make stops at the DMA and Klyde Warren Park while enjoying the perfect outdoor weather. Take advantage of the free transportation options to get around the city like the M-line Trolley and the D-Link that take you through Dallas' best neighborhoods. Before heading to the Draft, break for lunch at a sports bar like Bryan Street Tavern or The Owner's Box for local bites and brews.
Unleash your inner fan
The Draft kicks off Thursday with three days of action-packed fan events. Put your skills to the test at the Combine Corner where you can race your friends in a 40-Yard dash and jump your highest as you test your vertical reach. There will also be a NFL Play 60 Zone with kid-friendly challenges to compete like the pros. Take your picture with the Cowboy's Super Bowl trophies and check out the NFL museum that will feature Hall of Fame memorabilia, Super Bowl rings and so much more! (Be sure to register for the Fan Mobile Pass for entry to the fan experience!)
Cap off the weekend
End the weekend on a high note with last-minute stops before heading home. Enjoy brunch on the patio at The Rustic for their Jam and Toast brunch, served family style with options like smoked cheddar grits and fried chicken, or go for the buffet at Tacos and Tequila and try bites from the taco bar and omelet station. Spend your last hours in Dallas recovering with a trip to the spa at The Joule and a trip to the Dallas Farmers Market for afternoon treats and a unique Dallas gift from Bullzerk.
