It's safe to say that summer time is the best time – time to kick back, relax and take a much-needed vacation. Whether you're taking a trip with the family, your besties, or simply by yourself, we've got all the tips you need to have the best summer ever!

For the family

If you're traveling with the whole gang, Dallas is full of family-friendly museums and activities that will appeal to everyone. Get the Dallas CityPASS to see the city's best attractions like the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, Dallas Zoo, Reunion Tower and more. We know that finding the right dining options can get tricky when you travel in groups but have no fear! Our family dining list has just what you need to fill every craving and need, from family-style options to casual burger joints – there's something for everyone.

For you and your buddies

Because traveling with your best group of friends is always a great time. If y'all are brave enough to bare the Texas heat, have some fun on the Trinity River  walking the trails, hiking or kayaking. Make a stop to Klyde Warren Park for a stroll and enjoy the food trucks for a picnic in the park. Check out Dallas' nightlife scene with dancing and drinks at one of many spots in Deep Ellum, a lively neighborhood that's definitely the place to be on any night of the week.

For the solo traveler

If you've never traveled on your own, now is the time! Treat yourself to a shopping spree at NorthPark or the Galleria for all-day fun. With hundreds of stores combined, you're guaranteed to not leave empty handed. Go on a museum tour in the Arts District with stops at the Dallas Museum of Art and the Nasher Sculpture Center and enjoy a casual lunch at either museum's café. Discover all the city's selfie spots like the Pegasus at the Omni or the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge for the perfect Instagramable moment.
