Brazilian-style Filled Pops at Picole Pops
Deep Ellum and Bishop Arts District

If you like a bit of extra filling in your popsicle, go for the Brazilian-style gourmet paletas at Picole Pops. We love the brightly painted store with lots of seating, and the 3D popsicle art will have kids and teens excited about getting their Instagram pics while parents will enjoy the large array of alcohol-infused pops!

What to order: Banana stuffed with Nutella is a standout, and we loved the choc avocado for something different. For the best parental choice, try the refreshing Mango Margarita and the Strawberry Daiquiri.

Fruity Pops at Pop Factory

Since their beginning in 2013, these guys have been the original players in the popsicle craze in Dallas. The pops are made with natural ingredients, whole fruits and packed with vitamins making them a healthy treat for the family. Add the 3.5 percent ABV per serving for the parents, and everyone's having a great day.

What to order: Kids will love the Banana Nutella or Strawberry Velvet, and parents can try the Margarita, Sangria and Pina Colada flavors.

Cuban Ice Cream at Azucar Ice Cream Company

Hailing from the Havana neighborhood of Miami, Azucar in Bishop Arts serves ice cream and sorbet flavors using locally sourced and all-natural ingredients. The menu caters for the little ones with specialty flavors of Marshmallow S'mores, Oreo Cookies' n' Cream as well as all the regular classics; and for the bigger people in the family there's an assortment of alcohol-infused Cuban flavors.

What to order: For the parents, try Café con Leche (Cuban coffee & Oreo) and Mantecado (Cuban Vanilla). For a little extra punch, go for the Willy Cherrino that's made with Bourbon, or Rum & Raisin and the Blushing Cuban made with Rum.

OG Waffle Cones at Cauldron Ice Cream

Cauldron ice cream is one of the newest players in the frozen treats market who has recently landed in Dallas. While there is no booze on their menu, parents won't be disappointed as there is a range of grown-up type flavors for everyone in the family to enjoy. They've combined the popular Hong Kong street food of the bubble waffle and serve it warm with their delicious and uniquely flavored ice cream. It's also one of the prettiest presented ice creams we've ever seen, so it's pretty much Instagram gold.

What to order: For the kids – S'Mores, Mint Choc Chip, Strawberry Shortcake and Double Choc Chip are all options on the menu. Moreover, parents will enjoy the more grown-up flavors of Vietnamese Coffee, Earl Grey Lavender, and Sea-salted Caramel options.
