Pop-up art galleries is a nationwide phenomenon and Dallas has jumped on board. Discover these interactive experiences for your next outing in Dallas.


Step inside Candytopia in North Dallas for a candy-filled experience and kids paradise. There are 14 rooms to explore, each designed with different themes, candy-constructed characters, hidden treasures and sweet treats. Don't miss a photo op with the miniature Big Tex or your chance to jump into a pool of marshmallows. Open now through Sept. 2.

Sweet Tooth Hotel

Sweet Tooth Hotel

More than an Instagram moment, Sweet Tooth Hotel in Victory Park is an experiential art exhibit. This is chapter three for Sweet Tooth, with an expanded space (they took over the suite next door, more than doubling the size of previous iterations), a silent disco component, and a bar themed after music icon, Prince. This time around the theme is DISCOTECH, which combines music and new media to create interactive audio-visual installations all designed by local artists. We won't give away all the details – you'll have to experience it for yourself! Open now through Aug. 31.

Rainbow Vomit

Rainbow Vomit

Located in Fair Park, this immersive art exhibit designed to transport you to a world of art, light and sound. Rainbow Vomit is centered around a comic book theme, with various rooms, props and photo ops throughout, including a secret room that you'll just have to discover on your own. It's designed to be a one-hour experience, so you have plenty of time to take it all in. Open now through Sept. 2.

Psychedelic Robot

If you missed it last year, you're in luck because Psychedelic Robot 2.0 is back and better than the last. This interactive art experience at the Crescent Hotel showcases a variety of multimedia installations from local and international artists including, fashion, sculpture, painting, photography, music and more. Open now through Sept. 29.
