The Craftiest Cocktail Bars in Dallas

While it's no secret Dallas is a hub for craft cocktails, these are the bars shaking things up.

Parliament

Known as one of the top happy hours in town, Parliament in Uptown serves some of the best cocktails in Dallas. The cocktails are a true form of art, garnished to perfection, and with Indoor and patio seating, this is the perfect destination for all seasons. If you want to drink like a local, this is where you want to be.

Tipsy Alchemist

Be mesmerized by cocktails created from science, the eye of an artist, and the magic of a mixologist. Located in the heart of Uptown, this is not your typical nightlife spot. Watch as your favorite booze is transformed into an experience you’ll never forget. Bonus: Tipsy Alchemist is a stop on the Margarita Mile, so make sure you check in.

HIDE

Located in Deep Ellum, one of Dallas’ most artistic areas, HIDE is home to some of the most innovative libations around. Their unique twist on presentation will satisfy everyone from the beer guzzler to the more selective. HIDE is also home to a dynamite burger – get it for only $6 Sunday-Friday from 5-7 p.m.

The Mitchell

Searching for the ultimate Dallas experience? Look no further than The Mitchell located in Downtown Dallas. With food options like roasted bone marrow to escargot and an extensive cocktail list, you’ll understand the saying, “everything is bigger (and better!) in Texas.”

Bowen House

A farmhouse owned by Ahab Bowen in the 1800s was reincarnated into Uptown’s trendiest hangout. Here you’ll find eclectic and imaginative drinkable creations. There’s also a private Bar Within A Bar located in the back where guests can enjoy a more intimate experience.

Jettison

If quaint, cozy bars are your thing, this is the perfect place for you. Jettison in West Dallas takes great pride in expertly crafting classic cocktails with an emphasis on mezcal and sherry. It’s ideal for a romantic evening with that special someone or unwinding after a long day. Pay close attention as this hideaway bar is located inside Houndstooth Coffee at Sylvan Thirty – it’s easy to miss!

Midnight Rambler

This Downtown Dallas hotspot is located inside The Joule, a trendy, boutique hotel across the street from the iconic giant structure “The Eye”. Sip on aromatic or sour cocktails while taking in a speakeasy-style vibe. Dress to impress here as Dallas’ elite are known to make cameos.

The Botanist

Located in Bishop Arts, The Botanist adds further charm and allure to the neighborhood. The cocktail bar serves a rotating menu of cocktails infused with fresh herbs, flowers and other garden ingredients. Add in the restaurant's swanky atmosphere and chic design and you'll be drinking in style here.

Ebb & Flow

Not only does this Deep Ellum bar create unique and beautifully crafted cocktails, but also has several delicious menu items, like the jalapeño poppers or Cubano Eggrolls. The bar also has a garden patio, as well as several TVs and live music on the weekends.

Wah Wah Room

Step back into the groovy 1970s at this recording studio-turned-cocktail bar in Lower Greenville. The Wah Wah Room serves their takes on classic cocktails, as well has several beers on tap and local Texas wines.

77 Degrees

This Knox-Henderson rooftop lounge serves vibrant cocktails in a vivacious atmosphere. With cocktails choices, like the Violet Sky, a watermelon and thyme-infused drink, or the Ruby Slipper Cocktail, as well as delicious shareable bites, this rooftop lounge provides an escape from the norm.
