This golf course has become a premier public golf destination in the area thanks to a 2011 redesign, panoramic tree-lined fairways and scene views of Downtown Dallas. The course is one of the closest to Downtown Dallas, located in the popular Oak Cliff neighborhood of Kessler Park and just minutes away from the Bishop Arts District. Greens fees start at $17.
Tenison Park in East Dallas offers the best in public golf with different experiences on each of its two 18 hole courses. Tenison Highlands is a remodeled upscale course over tree-lined fairways and picturesque elevation changes, while Tenison Glen is a classic course and a favorite of Dallas golfers since 1924. Access to either course also allows access to a state-of-the-art practice and teaching facility, a fully stocked golf shop and the courses’ shared café. This golfing jewel is just twenty minutes from Downtown Dallas and thanks to a major 2012 renovation, the course has something for golfers of any level. The course is popular thanks to its central Northwest Dallas location, outdoor deck seating and gorgeous fairways. Greens fees start at $14.
Keeton Park amenities include award-winning driving range, snack bar, fully stocked golf shop, two practice putting greens and a short game area. The course, located in southeast Dallas, is part of an audubon-sanctioned habitat, so sightings of diverse wildlife are common throughout the course. Greens fees start at $11.
Rolling terrain, greenside bunkers and tree-lined fairways give this legendary course a spot on our list of must-see Dallas golf courses. The course maintains high-quality standards and traditions established over 85 years ago and continues to be a favorite of Dallas golf enthusiasts.
