Keep it Sporty with these Fall Events in Dallas

The city's sports scene is always buzzing with exciting match ups, games and events. And this year is no exception with new activities and returning classics.

 

Dallas Bike Ride

Nov. 4 | City Hall Plaza

Celebrate life on two wheels by being a part of the first Dallas Bike Ride. This 20-mile course is the only closed-road bike ride, so you can venture around the city by bike with no cars. This family-fun event admits bicyclists of ages three and up to ride through different Dallas neighborhoods, and ends with the Finish Festival at City Hall Plaza. The festival includes a Health & Wellness Zone, a Kids' Zone and music by DJ Spinderella of Salt-N-Peppa.

 

Team USA Winterfest

Nov. 18 | Klyde Warren Park

Gear up for the 2018 Olympic Winter Games at the Team USA Winterfest. The Winterfest is a 13-stop tour and festival with tons of fun activities to get you pumped up for the games.  Enjoy interactive fan experiences like the Bobsled Boomerang where you will experience what it's like to be an Olympic bobsled athlete, or test your curling skills at the Curling Challenge. There will also be live music and meet and greets with Olympic athletes. Don't miss this free event!

 

Call of Duty World League Dallas Open

Dec. 8-10 | Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center

Attention gamers – the Call of Duty World League is coming back to Dallas on Dec. 8-10! The best Call of Duty players will compete in tournaments all around the world, and you have a front row seat to catch all the action at the first Global Open for this season in Dallas. Get your tickets today to this epic gaming event.

 

BMW Dallas Marathon

Dec. 10 | Downtown Dallas

Sign up to run in the BMW Dallas Marathon, Dallas' largest and Texas' oldest running marathon. Now in its 47th year, thousands of participants take part in the race from all over the world. And it's not too late to sign up! This year's event also includes a half marathon, 5K and 10K run and a relay, so get your friends together and race around the city.

 

College Football Games

And don't miss three big college games coming to Dallas next month! So as soon as your favorite team gets announced to play, you'll definitely want to get your hands on these tickets. The Big 12 Football Championship Football Game is Dec. 2 and the Cotton Bowl Classic is Dec. 29, both at AT&T Stadium, and the Zaxby's Heart of Dallas Bowl is Dec. 26 at the Cotton Bowl in Fair Park.
