Car lovers will get the chance to see, test drive and even purchase collector cars at some of the biggest cars shows in Dallas. Check out every car event happening this fall and beyond.


Mecum Auctions | Oct. 3-6, 2018

Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas

Mecum is the largest collector car auction in the United States, with a collection of over 10,000 collector cars, antique motorcycles and vintage trackers. Mecum will host nine auctions throughout the year, and Dallas is the first stop. On display will be over 1,000 cars including, classic Camaro's, Mustangs, trucks and many more collector cars. Before the show, check out all the cars that will be at the auction here for a sneak peek. The auction will take place at Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center on Oct. 3-6 with various cars on display each day. Although it's an auction, you don't have to bid on a car to attend - all car lovers are welcome! Daily admission is $20 for advance purchase or $30 at the door. Children 12 years and younger are free.


Texas Auto Show | Sept. 28 – Oct. 21, 2018

State Fair of Texas

Check out the largest new car auto show in the Southwest at the Texas Auto Show. Taking place during the State Fair of Texas, the auto show is a fan favorite for many during their annual trip to the fair. Housed in multiple spaces throughout the fairgrounds, you'll find over 400 of the latest models from the world's leading manufacturers. Brands on display will include, Chevrolet, Jaguar and Fiat just to name a few. There will also be a Truck Zone and the Classic Corral, showcasing unique and vintage vehicles. Admission to the auto show is free with your State Fair ticket, so make sure you stop by for a photo op of you in the drivers' seat of your dream car.


DFW Auto Show | March 27 – 31, 2019

Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas

If you're considering a car purchase in the near future, a stop at the annual DFW Auto Show should be on your itinerary. The show has been in the area since 1982 and has grown to include more than 30 of the most popular car brands. Your ticket to the event also includes access to the Classic Car Corral, a specialized collection that's a must-see for a car enthusiast. There's also an outdoor ride and drive event set up, giving you the opportunity to get behind the wheels of what's hopefully your soon-to-be new vehicle.


NorthPark Auto Show | Fall 2019

NorthPark Center

NorthPark is known for an impressive collection of luxury shops and boutiques, as well as a one-of-a-kind art collection, and once a year, they add luxury vehicles to the mix at the annual NorthPark Auto Show. Current models from brands like Aston Martin, McLaren, Rolls Royce and Tesla line the corridors of NorthPark Center, so car enthusiasts can enjoy it in between stops at their favorite stores. The auto show runs for three weeks and is free to attend.

Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas

A local favorite, this car show brings both eye and ear candy. On top of the more than 500 custom vehicles on display, the event features two concert stages and is known to bring big names from the hip hop music scene (previous years' have seen performances from acts like J.Cole, Slim Thug and Paul Wall). The event takes place in Downtown Dallas at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Center Dallas, and tickets start at $25.
