Resolution #2: Get Active
Let's face it – getting to the gym is often cumbersome. So make exercise fun by going to a free workout class at Klyde Warren Park, like Zumba, yoga or Tai Chi. Go on a bike ride or jog on the Katy Trail, Trinity River Audubon Center or one of our many other trails in Dallas. There are also plenty of local gyms and fitness studios like Vital at The Joule Hotel and Class Studios in Uptown. Read about our guide about all the only-in-Dallas fitness studios to try some new classes – some even offer your first class for free!
Resolution #3: Save Money
Having fun doesn't mean you have to break the bank. Spend some time exploring the best of Dallas for free! The Crow Museum of Asian Art, Dallas Museum of Art and the African American Museum all offer free admission. It also doesn't cost anything to take a great selfie, and Deep Ellum offers the perfect backdrop with stunning street art. If you need some fresh air, spend some time outdoors at the Ron Kirk Pedestrian Bridge or Main Street Garden. Make your plans for all things free with our updated guides.
Resolution #4: Be Adventurous
Whether you're a local or a first-time visitor, there is always a new experience to be had in Dallas. For the outdoor enthusiasts, head to the Trinity Forest Adventure Park for fun obstacle course challenges at the first and only aerial adventure park of its kind in Texas.
