Where to Celebrate National Margarita Day along the McKinney Avenue Trolley

National Margarita Day – something we wait for all year – will be here on Feb. 22. And since Dallas is the official home of the Frozen Margarita and Margarita Mile, there is no better place to celebrate.

With nearly two dozen partners on the Margarita Mile across all of Dallas' vibrant neighborhoods, there is something for every taste. If you plan to be in Uptown, we suggest hopping on the McKinney Avenue Trolley to cruise, worry-free, to a handful of stops in the area.  Track the trolley and plan your route at mata.org.

Be sure to check-in on your app along the way to earn official Margarita Mile gear!

The Rustic
Hop on and hop off at the Uptown Station (Cityplace West Boulevard and Howell Street)

This local favorite will be celebrating the greatest mixed drink in a BIG way. From 5–8 p.m., The Rustic will be partnering with their friends at Don Julio Tequila to serve up classic on the rocks margaritas from the largest margarita glass in town standing nearly five feet tall! This backyard party will also feature a live DJ.

Taqueria La Ventana
Hop on and hop off at the St. Paul/Woodall Rodgers Station and walk about 4 minutes to the right

Craving a Mexican street taco paired with a refreshing margarita? Head to Taqueria La Ventana from 3–6 p.m. for happy hour prices – that's $3 for a margarita! Grab your whole crew for a spot on the patio and take in the Dallas skyline while you sip America's favorite cocktail.

El Fenix
Hop on and hop off at the St. Paul/Woodall Rodgers Station and walk about 4 minutes to the right

Hold on to your hats for this one – ONE DOLLAR MARGARITAS ALL WEEKEND. I don't know that you need more convincing than that. This Dallas institution is in its 101st year and has been mixing up some of the best margs in the city ever since. Heading to the Mavs game too? Show your tickets at check-out for 10% off your meal.

Meso Maya
Hop on and hop off at the St. Paul/Woodall Rodgers Station and walk about 4 minutes to the right

Another happy hour favorite, Meso Maya, will be celebrating with $5 house margaritas from 3–6 p.m. Make an entire night of it and plan for dinner in their courtyard – you won't want to miss out on their three cheese Queso Fundido.

Margarita Mile will also be celebrating National Margarita Day! Be sure to download the app (Apple Store or Google Play) and follow along on Instagram and Facebook as we announce new partners (hint: they are also along the McKinney Avenue Trolley) on Feb. 22. You may even catch us out and about on the McKinney Avenue Trolley Friday afternoon enjoying these refreshing deals and passing out some giveaways!
