Drive-in and drive-thru experiences are beginning to pop up across the city as venues think of creative ways to give patrons a good time while practicing social distancing guidelines. From attractions and performances to classic carhop diners, here is a list of some of our favorite drive-thru experiences so far.
Jurassic Quest Drive-Thru

Take a prehistoric journey through Fair Park as it is transformed into a land before time. The Jurassic Quest Drive-Thru features more than 80 life-sized interactive dinosaurs, a dinosaur petting zoo, real dinosaur fossils, themed-rides and attractions and more. So, pack the kids into the car and explore this old world all from the comfort of your car. Purchase your tickets online today as this "roarsome" event only runs through July 12!
"Everything Will Be Fine" Drive-In Dance-Theater
Latino Cultural Center (July 10 and 11)
"Everything Will Be Fine" is a spirited drive-in dance performance about a woman learning how to deal with a new world and her well-meaning friends after experiencing an unthinkable loss. As she moves with her friends amongst the flashing car lights, bringing joy to a tragic situation, we learn that to accept our loss and embrace our present circumstances, we'll have to take it one dance at a time.
This 45-minute showcase will certainly pack a punch and undoubtedly delight the crowd with its unique viewing experience. Ushers will be on-site to direct cars and ensure safety during the performance.

Dairy-ette is an old-school carhop that serves up classic hamburgers, fries and their legendary housemade root beer. It's retro '50s-themed digs and straightforward menu makes for a classic drive-in experience. Make it a fun time with the family by dressing up in swing dresses and pleated trousers and throw your own sock hop in the parking lot.

This Dallas staple sandwich shop has been serving delicious deli-style subs since 1974. When you find yourself craving carbs and a classic dining experience, head to Great American Hero and enjoy its drive-thru service.
