American Airlines Center is the premier sports and entertainment venue. Located on 12-acres, north of the historic West End, it is the most technologically advanced sports arena in the country. It is home of the Dallas Mavericks basketball team and the Dallas Stars hockey team.

One of the most impressive arenas in the world resides in the heart of downtown Dallas. The American Airlines Center is the cornerstone of Victory Park, a 70+ acre urban gathering space that is the largest EPA brownfield project in the United States. This $420 million dollar facility that is best known as home to the Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Stars is a multi-purpose arena that can transform itself to host a multitude of events. Arena football, gymnastics, WWE events, Motocross, bull riding, figure skating, circuses, and major concerts such as U2 and Bruce Springsteen are just a small fraction of events held at the American Airlines Center. The arena's unique design and advanced technology allow for very quick surface changes. Changing the basketball floor to an NHL ice rink can be done in less than 2 hours, and quality is not sacrificed as the NHL graded the ice 3rd in the league in 2006. Having just completed renovations in 2009, the American Airlines Center can now claim to have the only 1080 HD video scoreboards in an NBA or NHL arena. With 105 luxury suites, 78 theater boxes and awards in architectural design, customer service, and green technology, the American Airlines Center is nothing short of a world class facility and will continue to be so for a very long time.

Nestled at the edge of downtown, this state-of-the-art facility is one of the newest shining points in the landscape of Dallas.

It features a one-of-a-kind retractable seating system that allows the floor to change over in two hours as opposed to six, as well as one of the best scoreboards in the world with eight sides and four video displays. With seating capacities of 20,000 for concerts, 19,200 for basketball, and 18,000 for hockey, the American Airlines Center can host nearly any event.
